Permits & Forms
Do you need a permit from the Conservation Authority?
Planning to build or make changes near a watercourse or shoreline?
SNC works with landowners, developers, and municipalities to help ensure projects near rivers, streams, wetlands, and shorelines are safe, sustainable, and compliant with provincial regulations. Development in these areas may require a permit to protect people, property, and the natural functions of the watershed, including flood control, erosion prevention, and water quality. Before starting any work, review the applicable permit requirements, fees, and application process below.
